  1. Love that necklace! I’ve been buying necklaces and fingertips rings lately (although I hardly wear rings). I like to accessorize with necklaces, because my clothing is very plain (not really a fashionable girl 😦 )

Love the book mail too, and those cupcakes are making me hungry, even though I just had 2 macaroons! 😀

  2. I’ve never read a graphic novel, but have thought for a while now that the Maus novels look very good.

My 8 year-old daughter recently found DC Cupcakes on Netflix and is quite the fan now! We like to watch it together.

    • I’m reading a tough chunker right now so I grabbed Maus I thinking it’d be a good break from my toughie (about Katrina). I raced through it. It was SUCH a good read, and being my first graphic novel, I was so surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I “forgot” I was reading what essentially is a comic. It was so easy to read! I’ll probably pick up the second one today to read, too!

And if you happen to ever be in the DC area. . . the cupcakes are delicious! 🙂

  3. I’ve read very positive reviews of Maus; it’s not the kind of book I’d chose, but I think I will read it too.
Well, this week there aren’t photos of Tilly, so my favourite is the one of the cupcakes 😉

    • Okay, Isi, I will take that as a request for more Tilly pictures! 😀

Also, Maus isn’t a book I would normally pick up either, but I heard so many fabulous reviews on it that I decided to give it a chance. And I’m glad I did!
